Personal growth, Leadership development, Team building, Social responsibility

At Challenge: Accepted we know that aptitude, attitude, and ability are just like any muscle – they become stronger every time you work them out.

Our enrichment program is designed to cultivate strength within your organization and community. Like bringing the gym to you, we provide the best means, equipment, and coaches you need to strengthen the following abilities: Leadership, Teamwork, Creativity, and Strategy

So what does the program look like? We challenge you and your team to design and execute a socially beneficial project.

Sound simple? Yes. Is it easy? Hell no.

The project can be as small as a clothing drive, as big as a gala, or as crazy as a food truck foam party. There are only a few hard guidelines. So what would you do? Who would you help? How big could you go? The difference between dreams and reality is effective personal and interpersonal leadership and the path to effective leadership is action, consideration, deliberation, and practice, practice, practice.

The numbers are in... strong leadership is important to any field, organization, or community. We know this intuitively but most of us don't really know what it means. Challenge: Accepted provides the space and support you need to discover and hone your highest self:

  • Identify the tenets of leadership

  • Learn your own personal strengths

  • Inspire and motivate others through courage and accountability

“Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak...”

What is leadership if you don’t play well with others?

  • Learn to listen

  • Communicate powerfully and effectively

  • Empower and play to others’ strengths

  • Create a secure environment where everyone can thrive

“...Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.”

Winston Churchill

This program is set up for you to encounter challenges and it takes creativity to meet these challenges effectively. It’s not something that you learn, creativity is something that you allow. We encourage you to be free to play and get out of your own way!

  • Use imagination to improvise

  • Disrupt and energize that tired old way of thinking and see things fresh

  • Get super comfortable with trial and error

Albert Einstein

“Creativity is intelligence having fun.”

Strategy is about planning and also about thinking on your feet. First you have to plan for what you know and then you have to plan for what you don’t know. There are plenty of nifty tools and tricks to help get the job done but since “the best laid schemes of mice and men often go awry,” “ we have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down.” (Robert Burns, Kurt Vonnegut)

  • Think critically

  • Commit and follow through

  • Develop and use your resources wisely

“Strategic planning is worthless - unless there is first a strategic vision.”

John Naisbitt
